Buying Phone Numbers
ScaleTalk allows you to purchase phone numbers directly through our platform, powered by Twilio's global telephony network.
Available Regions
We currently support phone numbers in:

Purchasing Process
Step 1: Navigate to Phone Numbers
- Click Phone Numbers in the sidebar
- Click the Buy Number button
Step 2: Search for Numbers
Available numbers are searched based on:
- Area Code - Specify a local area code (optional)
- Contains - Search for numbers containing specific digits
Step 3: Review Number Details
Each available number displays:
- Phone Number - The full number in E.164 format
- Location - City/Region where the number is registered
- Capabilities - Voice support
- Type - Local, Mobile, or Toll-Free
Step 4: Complete Purchase
- Select your desired number
- Enter a Friendly Name (e.g., "Support Line Germany")
- Click Purchase
- Wait for provisioning (usually 10-30 seconds)
After Purchase
Once purchased, the number is:
- Automatically configured for SIP routing
- Ready to receive calls
- Available for agent assignment
Assign an Agent
- Go to Phone Numbers
- Click on your new number
- Select an agent from the dropdown
- Save changes

Number Capabilities
Voice
All numbers support inbound voice calls by default. Outbound calling may require additional verification for certain regions.

Choose the Right Area Code
- Use local area codes for regional credibility
- Consider your target audience location
- German numbers with local area codes increase answer rates
Number Naming
Use descriptive names:
- Good: "Customer Support DE", "Sales Hotline", "Berlin Office"
- Bad: "Number 1", "Test", "New"
Regulatory Compliance
Some regions require:
- Business registration documents
- Address verification
- Additional compliance forms

If your desired area code shows no results:
- Try a different area code
