Quick Start: Create Your First Agent

Step 1: Create New Agent

Click Agents in the sidebar, then click Create Agent to open the template selector.

Step 2: Choose a Template

Select from the available templates:

Template Selection

  • Blank Template - A blank template with no presets. It provides the ideal starting point for designing your own custom agent.
  • Call Center Agent - The agent takes calls, captures name, phone number, and inquiry, and forwards them via email.
  • Calendar Agent - The agent manages appointments — it can create or reschedule bookings.
  • FAQ/Ticket Agent - The agent answers inquiries based on the stored knowledge base and automatically creates a ticket if no matching information is found.

Step 3: Configure Your Agent

After selecting a template, you'll be taken to the agent configuration page with multiple tabs:

Key configuration areas:

  • Agent Set-Up - Name, voice, language, and system prompt
  • Parameters - Fine-tune voice settings and timeouts
  • Capabilities - Enable calendar tools, API requests, call transfer
  • Knowledge Base - Upload documents or scrape websites
  • Follow-Up - Set up emails and webhooks
  • Outbound - Start outbound test calls

Pro Tip

Start with a template and customize it to match your use case. You can always modify settings later.
